28-year-old man killed in Sopore road accident | KNO

Rasool was critically injured in the accident, following which he was rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore where from he was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla.

A 28-year-old man was killed after a scooty he was riding took a hit by an SUV in Watlab area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district last evening, police said.

The deceased was identified as Muzafar Rasool Kababi, son of Ghulam Rasool Kababi, resident of Krankshivan Sopore.

An official said that the accident took place at around 5 pm yesterday when a speeding SUV hit the two-wheeler driven by Muzaffar Rasool.

Rasool was critically injured in the accident, following which he was rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore where from he was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla.

Doctors at Barzulla referred him to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment, said the official.

 

However, he succumbed at SKIMS Soura.

Police has registered a case vide FIR number 130/2017 regarding this incident.
